Reclaim Your Hope: 5 Day Intensive Outpatient Program DescriptionThis program offers 40 hours of intensive group therapy focusing on the following:
Making Changes and Accepting Change
Change is inevitable in our lives. At times change is chosen, but just as often a change is imposed upon us. The feelings that accompany change can torment us: Loneliness, Fear,Anxiety, Grief, Disappointment, Depression, Desperation.

We get stuck in our lives due to many factors: wounds of the past, conflicts of the present, and fears of the future.  If you are feeling stuck, some of these questions might be relevant:
• Where is my life headed?
• What happened to my passion?
• What happened to all of my dreams?

Codependency, abuse, addictive behaviors and addictions,  abandonment, depression, anxiety, loneliness, fear, relationship issues, food issues and eating disorders, body image issues, trauma, grief and loss, self worth and self esteem, recovery challenges or relapse cause dispair in a woman’s life and change is necessary.  This program will provide you with a toolbox for change.  Practical methods to begin to make necessary changes or accept the changes you didn’t choose.

Communication Skills
We have many kinds of relationships:  intimate relationships, family relationships, work relationships, as well as our relationship with ourselves-- to name a few. As you contemplate changes in your life to become healthy and reclaim your hope, how will your relationships be affected? What relationships are creating chaos and emotional pain in your life?  We will explore your role in those relationships and how to change your behavior for a different outcome. This program will help you understand how your behaviors influence your communication skills and your interactions in your relationships.

Up Your Attitude:  Learning to Get the Life You Want By Transforming Your Thoughts
Our thoughts become our words and our words become our actions.  Our thoughts affect not only our individual lives but also the totality of life around us. How do you spend your time in thought? Fear? Worry? Degradation of self or others? Thoughts of lack or abundance? Do you view your world as a wonderful place to be or as a place of pain and suffering? Or are you so busy that you don’t have time to think? Where you put your energy in thought is important.  If your thoughts are based in negativity and limitations you create a very different life than if your thoughts are rooted in abundance and love.

HappyYou have the ability to create a meaningful life by changing the way you think. Women often struggle with body image issues, now called body dysmorphic disorder.  If you have an eating disorder you more than likely will struggle with issues related to body image, but you can struggle with body issues and not have an eating disorder.  The definition of body image is our mental representation of us.  It is influenced by our feelings, which influences our behavior, thinking and self-esteem.  These body perceptions, feelings, and beliefs govern our life plan, who we meet, who we marry, the nature of our interactions, day-to-day comfort level, and the tendency toward psychological disorders. This program will provide you with a toolbox for change.  Practical methods to begin to transform your thinking and your life!
