Dress Code
Is there a dress code? Appropriate dress for programs include comfortable, casual wear.

Who Can Attend
Can anyone attend the programs? Crossroads values diversity. Participants of any race, religion, creed, age, sexual orientation or national origin are welcome.

Confidentiality
Will anyone else know about my participation in the programs? Crossroads has strict confidentiality guidelines to protect participants' anonymity in accordance with the HIPAA Guidelines and Regulations.

Telephone Use
Can I use the phone while at a Crossroads workshop? Clients are not allowed to use cell phones, computers, ipads, etc during the workshop.

Accommodations
What are the program accommodations?
Crossroads has negotiated special pricing at Pekin hotels for our program attendees.
It is recommended that program clients stay at a hotel where they can focus their free evenings on completing homework assignments and have quiet time to reflect on the discoveries of the day.

Program Fees
What is included in my program cost? All multiday programs fees include lunches and snacks. One day programs include lunch. Program fees do NOT cover air or transportation costs.

Transfers/Cancellations
What is your cancellation/transfer policy? Program Transfers For all participants must submit a request to be transferred in writing 14 days prior to the program start date. Transferring to another program will incur a $100 per person processing fee. Participants will not be permitted to transfer unless the request has been received and approved. Cancellations for all multi-day program if a cancellation occurs 14 or more days prior to a program's start date, the full amount, less $300 processing fee per person, will be refunded. One day workshop cancellations incur a $100 processing fee per person. If a cancellation occurs less than 14 days before the workshop's start date, the entire amount will be non-refundable. No refunds are given for any program if a participant does not attend, leaves the program early, or completes the program.

Insurance Coverage
Will my insurance cover a Crossroads program? We will verify your insurance benefits to see if you can be reimbursed by your insurance provider. Clients are responsible for paying all program fees to Crossroads. Insurance companies may not reimburse clients who attend our programs because the programs do not take place in a hospital setting.

Travel Arrangements
Who is responsible for my travel arrangements? The client is responsible for making all travel arrangements. It is possible for our clinical staff to pre-screen clients for pre-approval, allowing for travel arrangements to be made in advance. Please call for more information.

Why Do You Interview Me Prior to the Program The interview will be used by the therapists to prepare for the program in order to best meet your needs. This information is confidential and adheres to the confidentiality guidelines to protect participants' anonymity in accordance with the HIPAA Guidelines and Regulations.

Payment Plans
How do I pay for my program? We accept all major credit cards, checks, and offer payment plans through Paypal's "Bill Me Later Program" (see details below). If you are not using a credit card, full payment is due at the time of application and are payable in U.S. funds only. The tuition balance must be paid in full upon arrival at the program site. If you are registering within 2 weeks of the program start date, a credit card, certified check or money order is required. Sliding scale fees available to qualifying individuals.

Experiential Therapy
What is Experiential Therapy? Experiential therapy is an action-oriented model of therapy that goes beyond what many "talk" therapies access. All of Crossroads programs are group process and use a variety of active techniques.

After the Program
What happens after I complete a program? Intensive, multi-day program attendees will leave with their aftercare plan in hand to implement and/or share with their therapist at home.

Therapist Referrals
Do I need to be referred to Crossroads by a therapist? No. Anyone is welcome to register for a program. Many clients decide to attend a program based on recommendations from family members, friends, colleagues, etc., who have attended past programs.

Therapist Communication
Does Crossroads need to communicate with my therapist? For all programs, Crossroads sends a letter to the clients' therapist if a release of information section has been completed on the questionnaire. This letter asks for any pertinent information they may have about their client, including current medication, diagnosis, goals, etc.

Email List
Can I request to be placed on your mailing list? Yes, anyone can be placed on the mailing list for newsletters. Our mailing list is strictly confidential, and we do not share, sell, or otherwise make any information available to anyone outside our office without your express written permission.
